Guided by Parsons School of Design professors, this two-week project involved rapid prototyping, field research, and peer review, culminating in the creation of the DJC - a tribute to New York's bodega culture. I was inspired by the comfort that Bodega's provided to each New York, along with the lack of organization that these Bodega's had. Through this project I dove deep into the design principles of chairs and sofas, learning what makes both a comfortable and aesthetically pleasing seat.
